The 10 Most Beautiful Succulents Gift Boxes
The very beautifully designed succulents gift boxes are certainly visually appealing and they can make one of the most awesome gifts. Plus, those boxes can have very affordable prices.
We get to give gifts that actually bring people pure joy without spending too much, which is just wonderful.
1. Hallmark Flowers Succulent Garden – My Favorite Succulent Gift Box
I love the wonderful ideas that Hallmark Flowers has come up with for those looking for succulent gift boxes.
We actually have a lot of options to choose from and their prices are pretty similar.
However, neither will represent the cheapest present. The price tag is around $40-$60.
Even so, they look beautiful. Their succulents are varied so their planters look absolutely amazing.
My favorite is the 10-inch wood through that comes with 7 to 8 beautiful succulents. I absolutely love it, especially when you see how those tiny succulents look in a 10-inch wood planter.
Each succulent measures just 1 to 2 inches. Being planted close together in the wood planter, the effect is awesome, just like a miniature garden in our living space.
The instructions are simple: water monthly with ⅓ cup water. That’s it, which is perfect.
We are also advised to place the planter where the plants will receive plenty of sun but with indirect light. That means that we aren’t restricted to placing the planter on the window sill.
The other succulent gift ideas from Hallmark Flowers include 3 succulents in a 5-inch blue stitches ceramic container that looks gorgeous and a few other colorful round pots with different messages.
I love all of them but the 10-inch wood through remains one of my favorite succulent gift boxes because it comes with so many live succulents.
2. Altman Plants Assorted Cactus Collection
You can choose different sizes when it comes to this cactus collection.
You can choose to buy 3, 4, 6, 8 or 12 pots.
Each pot will include a live cactus variety so it’s an awesome gift.
The varieties included in this assortment of different numbers of pots are Echinocactus, Mammillaria, Notocactus, Opuntia and other varieties.
3. Altman Plants Assorted Cactus Tray
If you have a lot of people that you need to offer gifts to and all of them would love to receive a few tiny cacti, then this is a nice tray to buy.
The tray contains 32 cactus pots. They’re very tiny but the owners will repot them as they continue to grow.
We don’t get 32 varieties, there will be duplicates. And that’s why I said that the tray is perfect if we have different people you want to give a succulent gift box.
Among the varieties provided by Altman Plants are: Echinocactus, Mammillaria, Notocactus, Opuntia and other varieties.
4. Costa Farms Live Snake Plant
Buying a live snake plant is definitely not what some might expect from a succulent gift box.
Nevertheless, snake plants are an amazing succulent for people who could really benefit from a hardy houseplant that doesn’t need much attention from us.
Costa Farms has a few different potting options and some look really amazing.
The white décor planter with a stand is a very beautiful option.
But we can also choose other potting options: décor planter, grower pot, white-natural décor planter and black mid-century modern pot.
The snake plants are tall, these are not seedlings so they’re already grown pretty big before being sold.
Plus, the 6-inch pots are a good enough size to start with.
5. Costa Farms Live Aloe Vera
Another option from the same manufacturer is a live aloe vera plant. It’s an appropriate gift for those who are interested in the benefits of this world-famous succulent.
Once again, we get to choose from an array of pots.
The love balloon ceramic contains a tiny 2.5 inches rectangular ceramic planter that has a very tiny aloe. It’s just adorable.
The other pots are all round and they all come with a very big aloe plant. We get to choose between white-natural décor planter, ceramic planter and a grower’s pot that contains 2 pots with 2 live aloe.
6. Pink Flower Christmas Cactus
You can also buy a live Christmas cactus.
It’s one of the most beautiful cactus varieties. I really love it a lot and it makes the holidays so much brighter with its myriad of pink flowers.
7. Mkono 4 Inches Mini Glass Geometric Terrarium Container
I absolutely love the way these 4 inches mini glass geometric terrarium containers look.
At under $30, they’re not the cheapest. For the money, we get 3 of these mini glass containers.
What I really like is that each container has a different shape, which makes them look so nice. One is shaped like a globe, another like a triangle teardrop and the third has a bowl shape.
However, what I don’t like at all is that these are delivered empty.
Thus, they’re not exactly a succulent gift box.
They’re 3 beautifully shaped mini glass containers that need to be filled with succulents and cacti.
I would say that they’re awesome for those who already have succulents and want to propagate some more in very cool-looking planters.
If you’re not into that and the receiver of this gift is absolutely not into that, then you need to buy gift boxes with live succulents.
Another thing that I don’t like is that the glass shapes are not water-tight. We are advised to cover the bottom with small stones and to water with a spray bottle. That might seem like too much work for some people.
8. Songtaste Succulent Tools
There’s no live plant included in this package.
We only pay for the tools but for a price barely above $10, this gift for succulent growers can be truly awesome. It certainly manages to look more expensive than it is.
There are 11 mini tools included: 3 garden planting tools (shovel, spade, rake), 1 succulent watering bottle with curved mouth, 1 curved tip tweezer, 1 straight tip tweezer, 1 scissors, 1 pruning scissors, 1 cleaning brush, 1 plastic bucket shovel and 1 gardening potting mat.
This is an awesome succulent gift for those who already own the plants or are planning to propagate more succulents from the ones they’re already growing.
9. MyFift Artificial Succulent & Cactus Plants
When I look for the best succulent gift boxes, I look for live plants because those are the ones I love.
However, if you don’t want to take care of any live plants, then you can buy artificial succulents and cactus. They make nice decorations and they’re cheap.
This MyFift Artificial Succulent & Cactus Plants is under $20.
For that price, we get a set of 4 artificial succulents and cactus: rose succulent, prickly pear cactus, ball cactus, fairy castle cactus.
They’re set in white cube-shaped pots. Each pot measures 2 x 2 x 2 inches. They’re very tiny and you can place them anywhere.
10. Aixiang Cactus Tealights Candle
If we talked about artificial plants, why not also include cactus-shaped candles among these recommendations for succulent gift boxes?
For a price under $10, we get to buy a very nice gift for those who might appreciate some cactus-shaped candles. They work perfectly as decorations, too.
I wouldn’t be able to burn these candles because they look so beautiful but they’re a quirky gift idea and I love it.
Each candle has a 1.6 inches diameter. They’re definitely tiny.
However, we are assured that each candle is capable of steady burning for more than 60 minutes. That’s not bad at all.
They’re made from paraffin and they’re eco-friendly and safe to use.
There’s also a Thank You card included.
Each candle is shaped like a different cactus and I absolutely love the attention to detail that was put into this gift box.
What does giving a succulent mean?
It can mean whatever we want it to mean.
For me, it means that I love plants and that I want to spread that love around me.
I also love giving succulents because they are tenacious and they thrive in different environments.
If I know that the person receiving the plants doesn’t have a lot of free time to take care of them, then I think of succulents because they’re very resilient. I don’t want the people receiving my gifts to be stressed out by what they’re receiving. I want them to relax and just enjoy the new plants in their lives.
It’s also a way for me to connect with the people around me because we can talk about ways to make our plants thrive. It’s another connection for us to have, a beautiful one.
If I give a cactus to people, it doesn’t mean that I think they are prickly. Cacti are one of my absolutely favorite succulents and I love buying them for people around me, too.
A Christmas cactus is definitely at the top of my list because it can make our winters so colorful.
But you can also gift potted herbs and all kinds of other flowers. We can choose whatever we want.
Or maybe you have a big budget and you want to try something completely different, which might lead you to consider a hydroponic system for beginners.
Or you can think of offering a microgreen growing kit for those who enjoy eating greens year-round but don’t have much space for growing lettuce and baby spinach indoors.
Alternatives to Succulents Gift Boxes
Do I absolutely think that we need to buy a very beautifully designed succulent gift box if we want to give a green and beautiful present?
We can certainly buy those but we can also do other things.
There are other ways you can gift succulents to the people around you. These simple suggestions are for those who don’t want to look for the best succulents gift boxes but they still want to offer beautiful succulents as a gift.
Propagate aloe vera
If you have an aloe vera plant that has grown pups, you can take those pups, transplant them into beautiful pots for succulents and then give them to people as presents.
This is one of the simplest things you can do. It works perfectly for those who have an aloe vera, which is a succulent with impressive benefits.
Buy a tiny cactus
If you’re on a lower budget, buy a tiny cactus. Even the tiniest plant can bring us so much joy. Cacti are amazing gifts for people who live in areas that receive a lot of natural sunlight.
If you live in a colder area, add a LED grow light bulb to your present and that will show your thoughtfulness. The final price of this more complex present will still be quite affordable.
Get a Christmas cactus
A Christmas cactus is the best gift for people who love flowers. This is a winter-flowering houseplant. When the nature around us is dormant, indoors we will be greeted by the most beautiful flowers. That’s true joy.
Give a snake plant
Last but not least, if the person who will receive your gift doesn’t have the best experience with making plants thrive, then you should get them the easiest-to-care for succulent. Buy a snake plant.
This is a succulent that is especially perfect for being placed on desks because it doesn’t need sunlight or artificial light to thrive.
When we think of hardy houseplants that anyone can take care of, snake plants should be our first thought.
All in all, I hope you enjoyed my recommendations for the best succulent gift box and that I offered you the inspiration to find some of the most beautiful green gifts that can bring a spark of joy to the people who are lucky enough to receive them.
